Guelaguetza festival helps revive Mexico’s economy

Guelaguetza is one of the most festive times of year for Mexico’s indigenous. For two weeks every July, people from the Mexican state of Oaxaca gather in the city of the same name for traditional singing and dancing. It is seen as a way to keep tradition alive through the passing of time in the constantly changing environment of the modern world.
